This package is for families seeking support in launching their student’s college admissions search. We will begin with an 80-minute exploration session during which we'll discuss your student’s academic profile, preferences, college and career goals, and identify your family’s priorities, values, and financial criteria. Following the exploration session, you will receive:

• A curated list of 20 – 30* recommended schools to explore, based on your profile, priorities, and goals, with detailed admissions statistics and personalized information for each school.

• Personalized recommendations for best next steps in your college search process.

• A timeline overview of the college admissions process from which to build your own, personal timeline.

​*Note: The list typically includes 20 – 30 schools. Occasionally, the family’s constraints are so limited that there are not 20 – 30 schools which fit their criteria. In that case, you may receive a smaller list.

Personal Statement Essay Coaching

The personal statement is a 650-word essay submitted to most colleges and is one of the most important, and often most challenging, components of the application. It requires deep reflection and a thoughtful approach to showcasing your voice, experiences, and values in a compelling and authentic way. You'll receive step-by-step support throughout the entire writing process, including brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising, and polishing your final piece. This package includes five 50-minute sessions, detailed feedback and editing at every stage, and unlimited editing. Note: students will be expected to spend significant time reflecting and writing in between sessions. Failure to complete assigned work between sessions may result in a need for additional sessions.

Supplemental Essay Coaching (up to 6 schools)

Supplemental essays give colleges a deeper look at who you are, what you value, and why you're a strong fit for their community. This package provides comprehensive support for all supplemental essay writing for up to six colleges (Note: if you have more than six colleges, we can explore whether additional sessions will be needed). You'll receive guidance to ensure each response is thoughtful, specific, and aligned with your personal statement, creating a cohesive, compelling application. Support includes five 50-minute sessions and personalized feedback and editing through the process. Note: students will be expected to spend significant time reflecting and writing in between sessions. Failure to complete assigned work between sessions may result in a need for additional sessions.

This package is for 9th and 10th graders and their parent(s). It includes three 50-minute sessions through which we will identify your strengths, interests, priorities, and goals; establish a college search plan with goals for identifying, researching, and visiting potential colleges; outline a plan which includes high school courses, test preparations, extracurricular activities, work, service, and other experiences which will demonstrate your interests and highlight your unique strengths; provide an overview of the college admissions process, discuss your family's preparations for college, and answer questions you have about planning for college. ​

Students will learn habits and skills such as time management, organization strategies, scientifically backed study and note taking skills, tools for navigating new social situations, and tips and tricks for a successful academic transition. Exact skills covered will be tailored to the individual.  Your child will learn what it takes to be independent, responsible, and prepared to thrive in high school, college, and beyond!
